If you're the interviewer, only reveal the data and only show the exhibit when the interviewee asks for it. Don't overcommunicate if not asked as this makes the interview easy and does not mirror the real life experience.

Hi there,

If this is interviewer-led, then you show them when it makes sense in the case (the next step).

If this is candidate-led, the candidate needs to ask for the right “area” of information that unlocks the exhibit. They basically have to ask for generally the right information. (This is the art of case leadership).

If the candidate is stuck/struggling you can give them the exhibit/data, but this is a big mark against them.
