Strategy& Digital Technology and BCG platinion, which one is better considering reputation, exit, etc.?
Strategy& or BCG Platinion?

Both good options, but BCG Platinion carries the BCG brand name, which is more prestigious.
However, do consider where you'd rather work for the next few years. Prestige and theoretical exits are part of the equation, but so is your sense of personal fulfilment :)

Between these 2 i would say BCG.
If it were between Accenture and BCG however, it might be a different story.
All the best!

Hey there :)
Between Strategy& Digital Tech and BCG Platinion, the choice really depends on your goals. In terms of overall brand and exit opportunities, Strategy& generally has the stronger name, especially outside of tech-focused circles, simply because it’s part of the broader strategy consulting world. That can help more for exits into top-tier MBA programs, PE/VC, or general management roles.
BCG Platinion is more specialized and has a very strong reputation within the tech/digital architecture space. So if you're sure you want to stay close to tech, digital transformation, or CTO-type exit paths, it can be a great platform. But it’s often seen a bit apart from BCG core, which might matter for long-term trajectory or broader strategy exposure.
So: if you want broader doors open, Strategy& might edge out. If you’re tech-driven and want deep expertise in that world, Platinion is strong. Always worth thinking about the actual type of work you enjoy too :)
best,
Alessa :)

The answer should be pretty easy, because the 2 are very different in terms of what they do. Do you want to excusively work (and have an exit) in Tech / digital projects (Mainly implementation, as BCG Digital does the strategy part), or do you want to work on general strategy projects ? As these 2 are quite different in terms on projects and exits, your decision should be quite straightforward. In terms of brand name, I don't think one is clearly better than the other, because each operate in a different "market".

The two companies have a different target audience. Strategy&, like the core MBB brands, focuses mainly on strategic initiatives (not excl. PMO work though). Whereas Platinion is closer to IT Implementation (Target Operating Model, Enterprise Architecture, etc.). Choose whichever type of work interests you more. If you are worried about the DTS alignment at Strategy&, I recommend that you ask your recruiter to change it in the contract to "Corporate & Business Strategy". DTS alignment just means that you will be preferably staffed on strategy projects with an IT-context.
Compensation as far as I know in D is quite considerably higher at Strategy&. Entry 100k, after 2 years 145k and after 4 years 200k. Don't think Platinion pays as much, given that the MBBs even pay slightly below that.
