Strategy& final round fit section

Hi everyone, wondering have any of you been to or coached anyone that has attended final round of interviews with Strategy& recently for the US offices? I'm mainly trying to gauge what they are looking for in the fit section. With the final round being more conversational and less structured, wondering what are some of the qualities your fit questions have been focused on? So far, my experience is there are normally two questions in the fit section and leadership seems to be a quality they frequently touched on. Any insights are highly appreciated.

Hi there,

More than happy to talk you through this so feel free to send a message!

The general rule though is: don't expect anything. If you start to expect a leadership question and precisely 2 questions, you're setting yourself up for failure.

Rather, train your ability to react to any question that comes your way. I can't recommend enough keeping a flexibility approach, and treating this like a conversation (what other conversations to you try to “predict”?). Make sure you're ready for leadership AND teamwork, persuasion, initial failure, challenge, problem solving, client management, etc. etc.

Please also don't forget to have your “classic” fit answers ready as well! https://www.preplounge.com/en/tell-me-about-yourself-interview-question

Hey, feel free to send me a direct message. I recently helped someone get in S& in the west coast office.

Hello,

Strategy& targets similar qualities in the fit section to other companies - so that would be leadership, teamwork, initiative, quantitative reasoning, client hands, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and so on. I would approach this by preparing the common fit interview questions (you can find those on PrepLounge or with a quick Google search, but feel free to message me and I'll send you a list if you prefer), and making sure you have a good answer prepared for “Why do you want to work here?”

Hi!

The fit part of the interview involves questions related to your experience to assess your personal impact, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

I have specific sessions to prepare impactful stories about your background and to structure strong answers for the 3 most common questions (Why you? Why consulting? Why Strategy&?).

Feel free to text me if curious to know how I usually work with candidates.

Best,

Anto
