A decile score by itself is not enough information to conclude that your McKinsey path is over.
I would avoid trying to infer a rejection decision or a reapplication rule from the score alone. Wait for the official communication and use the instructions in your candidate portal or from recruiting as the source for what happens next. If they give a reapplication date, treat that as the rule for your application; if they do not, ask recruiting one focused question rather than relying on forum guesses.
In parallel, keep the part you can control moving. Write down which parts of the assessment felt hardest, then practise those skills in a structured way: reading information carefully, setting a clear plan before acting, checking calculations, and explaining your reasoning. Also keep other applications moving so that one outcome does not become your only option.
Reaching a low score is disappointing, but it is not useful evidence by itself about your longer-term potential. Get the formal outcome first, then make the next decision from the actual rule you receive.
