Bain Interview Prep

Hi everyone,

I got invited to interview with Bain in one month (at the Zurich office). With fairly limited consulting prep so far, what would your recommendation be for the preparation, in particular for Bain?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there :)

One month is definitely enough time to build a solid foundation if you prepare consistently. I’d start with the basics of case structuring, then move on to practicing cases with peers and doing regular mental math and exhibit interpretation drills. Try to practice out loud as much as possible, as knowing the theory is quite different from applying it in an interview.

For Bain specifically, I’d also prepare your personal fit stories and get familiar with the interview format used by the Zurich office. I’d aim for around 15 to 20 quality cases rather than rushing through as many as possible. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Best, Alessa :)
