What to Expect in the Application Process at DHL Consulting
The office in Bonn recruits on a rolling basis. There are no application deadlines for your full-time consulting roles. Just apply whenever it suits your timing. Internships are advertised matching the seasons of the year. Once you have submitted your application online, our team will diligently review your qualifications. If we find your profile to be promising, we may request additional documents from you to gain a deeper understanding of your skills and experiences.
The Online Assessment:
The next step in our recruiting process is an online assessment. This assessment allows us to evaluate your abilities and aptitude in a structured manner. We believe it is an effective way to gauge your potential fit within our organization.
Invitation to our Recruiting Days:
If we are interested in getting to know you better on a personal level, we will extend an invitation for you to attend one of our highly anticipated recruiting days. These events provide a valuable opportunity for both interns and full-time employees to interact with our team and showcase their capabilities.
Structure of our Recruiting Days
During the recruiting day, there are typically two rounds of assessments. Both interns and full-time employees take part in Round 1, which includes two interviews. These interviews focus on a business case relevant to the position and also assess your personal fit within our organization.
If you are applying for an intern position and perform well in Round 1, congratulations! We will extend a contract offer to you on the same day. However, if you are seeking a full-time position, passing Round 1 will take you to Round 2 on the same day. Round 2 consists of two more interviews, again covering a business case and evaluating your personal fit with a role play.
Congratulations and Offers:
For internship positions, successful completion of Round 1 will result in an exciting outcome. For full-time positions, successful completion of Round 2 will result in an offer. Possible starting dates for the full-timepositions are the first of each month, except the first of December and the first of January.

The strategic goal is to strengthen the stationary retail sector as an important customer group. The DHL Consulting team is tasked by the DHL Business Unit "Post & Parcel Germany" (P&P) with identifying a suitable German city for a pilot project and estimating the potential revenue in that city.
You have been hired to support the owner of a bike-shop as a business consultant. The bike-shop has suffered a significant revenue decline during the last year, and now the owner would like you to assess the situation and options for the way forward.
They want to know last year’s profit, i.e. how it was affected by the revenue decline, and what the priority actions are to survive the next year. (short term)
In addition they would like to understand the strategic competitive position of the shop better and how to increase revenues again mid- to long-term.
