Our Recruiting Day, which includes 2-3 case study interviews, offers an excellent opportunity to explore our job vacancies and career opportunities. These interviews can be held on-site or virtually, depending on your availability and preference.

What does an E.ON Inhouse Consulting Recruiting Day look like?

An ECON Recruiting Day offers an in-depth look into your future career with us. The day consists of 2 to 3 interview rounds. We begin with a company presentation, followed by two case-based interviews with our senior management team. The day offers you the chance to get to know our team and find out more about your individual career opportunities. After the interviews, we are pleased to invite you to an informal lunch with our consultants who are not involved in the recruiting process. In the meantime, our interviewers will compile the results from the first round. If the morning was a success, we will invite you to a final interview. In this interview, two additional interviewers will take the time to reaffirm the positive impression from the first round and address any concerns, paving the way for the final decision. By the end of the day, we provide personal feedback, and successful candidates will receive a contract offer to join our team and start their career at ECON.

The political ambition towards a rapid energy transition has increased sharply in recent years. Namely, the German government passed the "Easter Package" which effectively quadrupled the required expansion speed for renewable energies. After this announcement, another ECON project showed that the distribution grid will be the backbone of this transition and needs to be expanded much faster than previously planned. Therefore, the aim of Project Bob was to identify ways to "build better" and ensure that E.ON's distribution grid is expanded fast enough to make the swift transition to renewables possible.
