Salary changes at RB

Hi all,

I heard that there were some changes made to the salaries at Roland Berger in Germany. Will they automatically be applied to everyone (current employees and new joiners)?

Hi there,

This sounds like something that will really be an internally managed/communicated change. There's no way for us to know this from the outside.

If you're currently there you need to ask them! If you're joining, then one could assume that this would be applied to new joiners.

Hi! My mentees have received A LOT of RB Offers recently! And indeed, the salary packages offered are very competitive now and pretty attractive. My mentees usually use RB as a preparation for MBB - but for the first time ever, I have now seen mentees who chose RB over MBB - and this also had to do with the (now) competitive salary offered.

I do not know with certainty whether this increased salary also applies to all existing employees - but I would expect that - at least to some degree - the answer is yes.

Cheers, Sidi

Hi there,

This is not for us to actually know but it's no secret that something similar is happening across various consultancies + industry.

Things are hardly business as usual these days. A global talent shortage, high inflation, and currency devaluations in combination with a looming recession is reason enough to review remuneration packages.

Will be an interesting 12-24 months for all of us!

Best of luck!

Hello!

Unfortunately, I don't have this information first hand, so I cannot tell you for this specific one.

However, something very similar was announced for Amazon, and it did apply to everyone, just in different “waves”

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara
