Recruitment Process at Kearney Dubai

Hi,

I have been invited for a exploratory call for a position at Kearney Dubai. I have three questions:

1) Any idea what the “exploratoy call” entails?

2)How many rounds are typically held for a manager level role within consulting at Kearney?

3)What type of questions to expect?

Thanks!

Hi Anny,

1. A screening call could either be

  • Screening call to understand your motivation with fit questions plus provide information on the process/position to be sure you are aligned. Fit questions are usually the traditional non-stories ones:
    1. Tell me about yourself
    2. Why consulting
    3. Why us
    4. Why hire you
  • Short case (restricted to a few offices where sometimes this is conducted by recruiters)

If you didn't receive additional information, most likely will be the first. If you have doubts, I would clarify with HR.

2. Usually 2 rounds

3. Based on the previous questions I know they asked in Dubai, the following are some common types (they ask also other questions though):

  • Profitability/Rev Increase/Cost decrease
  • Market Entry / New product
  • Market sizing

If you need help please feel free to PM me, I helped several candidates for Kearney Dubai and know 20+ real questions they asked there.

Best,

Francesco

Hi Anny,
1. it usually entails motivational questions (why strategy consulting, why Kearney, why Dubai)
2. Two rounds of 1-3 interviews each
3. Every interview will include a fit part (motivation + personal experience) and a business case. Feel free to text me to know how I supported hundreds of experience-hired candidates in achieving offers in consulting

Best,
Antonello

Hi there,

For #1 and #3 you need to be prepared with a clear resume walkthrough/elevator pitch as well as why you're interested in consulting and the company.

For more info, check out this article: https://www.preplounge.com/en/tell-me-about-yourself-interview-question

Additionally, you should be prepared with questions of your own!

Typically, Kearney has 2 rounds, though I have heard of more happening depending on the office/situation - you should have a clear view of this shortly (the recruiter will tell you once they start scheduling your interviews).

Good luck!
