(PWC) Deals Strategy in Deals and Strategy&

Struggling to understand how the 2 entities differentiate. Both conduct Commercial Due Diligence through deals.

Would appreciate the insight!

Hi there,

Strategy& is PWC's strategy arm, and more prestigious consulting outlet. Means their projects are quite similar to the work MBB typically offers, while PWC is more operational / technical.

Now that said, yes, of course there is a bit of overlap when it comes to certain topics, like DDs. In fact, I've seen quite a lot of instances where project teams are actually blended with consultants from both firms.

Feel free to reach out via DM to learn more.

Cheers, Andi

Hi there,

PwC is a management consultancy so they're going to work more on the operations and low/middle level. Strategy& is a strategy consultancy and will work on the higher level (i.e. 3-4 week due diligences).

Ultimately, it's important that you talk to people specifically at both entities within your country so that 1) You can better understand their differences and 2) Network/get referrals
