Momentum in Jan

To be honest, there is very little value this forum can provide you on this specific question.

It will really all depend on your specific situation - e.g. the office dynamics, the specific partners schedule.

I can tell you that in many regions January is still ‘slow’ from a business POV, but I can also tell you that I've known partners who have sold massive transformations in the month of Jan. I can also tell you that I've worked on a CDD over New Years. 

So - it really depends. Best thing you can do is explain your concerns to HR and get a POV from them.

it sound like you have previously posted multiple questions around your “to be scheduled” final partner interview in January. If they told you that it will be scheduled in January, you are still within the timeframe since it's still December.

You can expect the first week of January to be slow - if you don't hear anything by the second week, I would follow up with the recruiting team.

Regarding your individual visa requirements and associated timelines, I cannot provide any insights. But in general though, you should not only wait for one company's recruiting process to come through if you are pressed for a new job. You need to apply left and right if you are under time pressure.

Sure, it is possible, in particular given it’s a bit that you are waiting for the round to be scheduled. If you have the option, the best thing to accelerate the process would be to leverage another offer.

Not sure about the travel requirements in the region for Big4, so I will leave it to someone else to address it.

Yes, they interview in Jan. 

If the timeline is an issue, especially because of visa problems, do inform HR so they can take this into account when scheduling. 

Regarding travel, it really depends on what industry your project is in, but typically it does involve travel indeed.

I doubt they'll take more than one month to schedule an interview. Result may come on January or not, depending on interview date.

Regarding travelling… that's really a question that is country and company specific.

Given it's final rounds, I would expect it to happen in Jan.

Feel free to politely nudged them 2nd week of Jan if they haven't scheduled anything yet.
