McKinsey Visa sponsorship

Am just asking in advance, because i applied tto mckinsey dubai, and i was invited for the assessment.

If eventually, i get a job offer from MCK Dubai, would do company sponsor my visa and relocation?

I heard in dubai you would need a work permit from your employer.

Please i need your advice on this.

Hi there,

Yes — if you receive an offer from McKinsey Dubai, the firm will sponsor your visa and handle relocation. In the UAE, you must have a work permit and residency visa sponsored by your employer, and McKinsey routinely does this for international hires.

Typically, McKinsey takes care of:

  • Work permit and residency visa sponsorship
  • Immigration paperwork and coordination
  • Relocation support (often including flights and initial settling-in assistance)

This is standard practice in Dubai and not something you need to arrange yourself. Details are usually confirmed at offer stage.

For now, focus on doing well in the assessment — visa sponsorship should not be a concern.

Best,
Evelina

Yes, McKinsey Dubai sponsors visas. This is standard for MBB offices in the UAE.

If you get an offer, they'll handle the work permit and visa process for you. In the UAE, your employer sponsors your residency visa, so you can't work there without company sponsorship. McKinsey knows this and takes care of it as part of onboarding.

On relocation, most MBB offices provide some support. This could include flights, temporary housing, or a relocation allowance. The exact package varies, so ask the recruiter once you have an offer in hand.

For now, don't worry about the visa. Focus on passing the assessment and interviews. If you get the offer, they'll guide you through the rest.

Good luck.
