Hey,

I'd like to know what differentiates Kearney from other firms, especially in terms of project/industry focus and culture.

Moreover, if someone from Kearney reads this, I'd like to get in contact with them, as I'm struggling to get to talk with a Kearney consultant (I have no alumnis there and I contacted several ones on LikedIn without success yet).

Kearney is best known for supply chain, procurement, performance improvement and growth, but it is quite dynamic in the functions/industries it serves.

I'm concerned with your comment that you can't get in touch with anyone at Kearney (or LEK, per your other Q&A).

This indicates to me that your messages are incorrect. Are you being concise/too-the-point or overly verbose? Are you “imposing” yourself by asking for a call off the bat, or hinting at hoping for one? Do you have a “catch” or “hook” sentence that connects you to them?

This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I'm happy to give you my perspective on that:

While I agree with what other coaches said about the functional focus of Kearney, the industries served go hand in hand with the functional focus, i.e. Kearney serves in particular (in some countries more, in some countries less depending on the dominating local industries) to the Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Chemicals, Energy, Industrial Goods and Services as well as the Metals and Mining industry.
Related to Kearney's corporate culture, from the experience of my personal network, Kearney is known to have a very down-to-earth, approachable culture and they seem to heavily stress personal fit during the recruiting process.
