I’m planning to apply to a few consultancies where I’ve already met current employees once during an event. I’d like to reach out to them to ask how the hiring situation is at the moment.
However, I’m a bit hesitant; I’m wondering if reaching out could negatively influence my chances or just confirm something that might not be entirely accurate. Would employees actually be able to give helpful insight here, or would they only repeat what’s publicly known? Is it smart to reach out in this situation?
