Failing Plant Defense - Imbellus Game

Hey everyone,

I have just finished the Imbellus Game from McKinsey.
My results were:
1) Ecosystem: Built a sustainable ecosystem relatively fast (42 mins left).
2) Plant Defense:
Game 1: >40 turns
Game 2: 14 turns
Game 3: 10 turns
On the last 2 games I completely miscalculated movements, don't know exactly what happened in my head.
Was wondering if anyone had any similar results (more specifically doing well on the first plant defense game and bad on second and third)? And what was the outcome?

I understand each case is different just looking to understand potential outcomes.

Hi there,

Quite honestly Game 2 and 3 don't sound promising. That said, please remember that they assess you holistically.

That means no only assessing Game 1 and your ecosystem game but also assessing your resume, overall profile, touchpoints, etc.

It's not over until you get that call so just keep prepping as if that interview is happening.

Hi there,

It is difficult to comment as the game also evaluates the steps to get to the final outcome. Having said that, I helped candidates in the past who did perform below 15 turns in one of the Plant Defense maps and passed anyway.
