Hi there,

I tried the link and it requires for access to be granted.

But to be honest, even though a professional review costs money, it's probably the most worthy investment at this stage in your consulting application process.

You're likely to get some free tips here on the chat, but what you need is a holistic assessment of the CV, that springs from a deep understanding of what your strengths and experience are and how they can be an asset for a consulting firm. That's what makes a CV truly great and it requires time and expertise.

Feel free to reach out and I can walk you through how I do the CV review process with my candidates.

Best,
Cristian

Hi there,

For entry-level consulting roles, your CV is the very first key step of the process – if it doesn’t pass screening, you won’t even get the chance to show your skills in interview. It’s worth investing the time to get it right or working with someone experienced who knows exactly what MBB looks for.

  • One page, clean format – recruiters only spend seconds per CV.
  • Impact-focused – every bullet should show measurable outcomes (e.g. “Improved efficiency by 15%” rather than “Responsible for process improvement”).
  • Structured clearly – Education, Experience, Leadership/Extra-curricular, Skills.
  • Consulting-relevant skills – highlight problem solving, data analysis, teamwork, leadership, and communication.
  • Tailored to London offices – international exposure, academic excellence, and any leadership roles are especially valued.

I can review your CV and share quick feedback here, but if you’d like to go into more detail, we can also jump on a call to review and go through it line by line. That way we can make sure it’s structured in the MBB format, highlights your impact with measurable outcomes, and brings out the consulting-relevant skills that recruiters screen for.

Happy to help you prep – feel free to reach out.
Best,

Vasiils

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your question! Just a quick note: I’d recommend not posting your CV link publicly on the forum. This space is visible to everyone, and your CV contains personal information that’s safer kept private.

The community can definitely give general tips here, but if you want focused, professional feedback on your CV, it’s usually more effective to book a CV review with a coach. Many PrepLounge coaches offer this service and can provide very concrete advice tailored to your profile.

You can find all coaches offering CV reviews here:

Good luck with your London applications – and feel free to keep asking questions here, the community is happy to help!
