Does anyone know what are the levels for BCG Expert Track and what comp level might be at each step of the ladder? Tried to google it for 30 mins, but could not find it.

The grades are the same up to the Project Leader and the pay is the same.
The Principal is called Associate Director and she earns as a Principal. Instead of Partner the grade for the expert is called Partner & Associate Director and the last one is Partner & Director (instead of Managing Director & Partner).
Effectively from Partner, there is some difference in total compensation; this is a consequence of different incentive schemes.

That's because they're actually the same! You're staying on the consultant path, you're just saying what function/industry you're associating with.

The compensation between the two should be the same. The main difference is that you will be exclusively working on projects within your area of expertise and the recruiting process will also reflect those kind of case interviews.
