Hi there,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • As policies can differ from office to office, and even between roles like internships and full-time offers, I would strongly advise you to reach out directly to the recruiter and ask about your specific case and location, as only they know for certain.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on your specific situation, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

hey there :)

Bain generally prefers candidates who are eligible for OPT or longer-term work authorization, but in some cases they have accepted day-1 CPT, especially for internships. it's very case-by-case and depends on office, timing, and your recruiter. definitely worth checking directly with your recruiter or HR contact to clarify for your specific situation.

feel free to message if you want help on how to approach that conversation!

best,
Alessa :)

Hi there,

It's always best to check with the recruiter. These things also change rather quickly and they depend from office to office and firm to firm.
