Bain business case - help please

Question

Hi all,

I have been struggling to understand how to get the answers for Q5 and Q7.

If anyone can provide me some explanations on how to solve these two, I'd be super grateful! I have a test coming up in a few days. I know I should be trying to figure it out myself, but I have spent a long time on these two and really need some hints please. For (5), I keep getting 1.5M positive and (7) 12M which is not in any of answer choices.
