I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

• First of all, if the application is incomplete and you cannot change the position you applied for anymore, I would advise you to just leave it as it is and start a new application with the correct position, if possible.
• If, however, the application is just "incomplete" in the sense of not being reviewed by Bain's recruiting team yet, I would highly advise you to reach out to them as soon as possible tomorrow morning to explain the mistake you made and ask for correction.

Q: I have started an application on Bain & Company. I cannot find a link to delete the incomplete application to restart. Any advice?

It seems a bit strange that you cannot edit an incomplete application but if that’s indeed the case, I would recommend to contact the HR team.

hey Shana :)

the easiest way is just to reach out to HR or the recruiter listed on the portal. explain that you want to change the position and ask if they can either reset your application or advise on next steps. they handle this all the time, so it’s not a problem.
