When is Mckinsey sending Solve Invitations for rolling basis applications?

Um, I'm a bit confused about how or why you submitted multiple applications. You're only supposed to submit one, not three. I'm pretty concerned at this point given that you didn't follow the protocol they advise.

That said, please make sure you're not wistfully staring out the window for McKinsey! The truth is it probably won't happen. That should be the expectation you set. Network with and apply to dozens of other firms, then move on. It's the only thing you can do in this situation.

I definitely wouldn’t consider this an automatic rejection. McKinsey’s response times can vary significantly, especially for rolling applications, and the fact that your portal still says “submitted” doesn’t tell you much about the outcome. I’d give it some more time, particularly for applications submitted only a week or two ago.

Bain being faster doesn’t necessarily mean anything about your McKinsey applications. I’d wait for the Solve invitation or an official update before drawing conclusions.

Reach out to the recruiter for an update. But don't assume that because you didn't hear back it means it's a rejection. It might just take a while for them to process your application.
