I’m currently based outside the U.S. and just submitted my application for a summer analyst role at JPMorgan. Assuming I get shortlisted, can anyone walk me through what the interview process looks like for international applicants?
Is it the same as for U.S. candidates, or are there additional steps (like language assessments, visa considerations, or extra interview rounds)?

From what I’ve seen, the overall process is pretty similar for international applicants. You’ll usually go through the same steps as U.S.-based candidates: HireVue first, then live interviews if you pass that. The number of rounds can vary a bit by region or division, but it's not dramatically different.
In terms of extra steps, sometimes there are a few additional things to keep in mind; like HR might ask about your work authorization or visa situation early on. But that's more of a logistical check, not part of the interview "grading."
Language assessments aren't usually a thing unless you're applying for a specific regional office where fluency is a must. And if you're applying to a U.S. location from abroad, just be ready for time zone differences in scheduling interviews.
So overall: not a totally separate process, but a few extra things to stay on top of. Rooting for you!
