Hi, I applied to a role at VISA Inc through referral within 3 working days the role was published on the careers page and my application status changed to "in review" the very next day after applying. Now since then, it has been almost a week but I am yet to get any response. What does this mean and what should be done?

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet. A week for a corporate firm such as VISA is not a long time. Additionally, Easter is coming up. I would not expect a signal from them before mid-April. Once you have not heard back until then, would kindly contact them.
