If I was rejected by one Bain office after the Sova Assessment, but my application was transferred to my second-priority office, does that mean I failed the assessment and the second office will also reject me?

No, it doesn’t automatically mean you failed the assessment or that the second office will also reject you. Each Bain & Company office usually runs its own process and makes independent decisions, even if the same assessment (such as the Sova Assessment) was used.

It’s best to treat the transfer as an opportunity rather than a fallback. Keep your profile updated, follow any communications closely, and prepare as if you still have a shot.
