Hello all,

I have a question on McKinsey Solve Game appointment.

Based on the email, I should take the exam from March01-11. However, I found I could book a time slot on March 12 by 6pm. I thought this happened because of the time difference, and booked a slot on March 12. Should I reschedule and take the test on March 11? Thank!

Thanks!

Hi there,

Sounds like it's a timezone thing.

If they have the slot available then that is just fine.

It's already March 12 so….just stick with your scheduled time.

Hi there,

Q: Should I reschedule and take the test on March 11?

You should be able to check the timezone based on the target office and the indication in the email. If they allowed for that slot, it should be fine based on the timezone. If you have doubts and it is possible, you can call HR for confirmation.

Good luck!

Hi there,

I don't see a major issue here booking your slot on March 12th. Double check with your recruiting contact (in written) to be safe in case there is any problem with this in the future.

Good luck!

Alberto

Hi,

if the system allowed you to book, then you should be able to take it without problems. For future reference though, try to work with a bit of a buffer in case some issues come up. So at least you'd still have the chance to postpone a bit. Now you are essentially working with the very last slot possible.

Good luck
