Hi, I know that McKinsey does not review any of the applications for the SSBA program until after the deadline (it is not rolling). Is this the same for BCG‘s Growing Future Leaders? In other words, can I wait until the deadline to submit for BCG or is it rolling?

Hi there,
I'd actually make a different distinction: between when they SAY it's rolling and when it's ACTUALLY rolling.
My advice would be to always apply earlier in the process if you can. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do it if you plan well in advance.
I've seen several situations where recruitment wasn't rolling but HR started reviewing applications in advance so the volume is easier to deal with rather than doing it all at once.
I've also seen situations when it wasn't rolling and still they decided not to consider the x amount of applications that came above a certain threshold they set.
In short, apply early and apply broadly. I've laid out the steps for how to develop your application strategy in the guide below:
Hope you'll find it useful

Hi there,
Q: Can I wait until the deadline to submit for BCG or is it rolling?
I would not wait till the deadline to submit if possible. Chances are that they might reach full capacity and start the screening earlier, regardless of whether they officially say it is rolling admission or not.
Good luck!
Francesco
Hello,
Good question, and I generally side with the other experts here. Even if it's posted as rolling admissions, firms will sometimes start reviewing applications before the deadline, so I always recommend to apply well before deadline to maximize your chances of getting an interview. Best of luck!
Hi there,
agree with Christian on this one - they typically review on a rolling basis, so it is helpful to submit rather early, especially in the current hiring environment.
With regards to adding some extracurriculars - if the rest of your CV is strong, in most cases, this wont' move the needle enough to take the risk of waiting for them to come in.
Feel free to reach out via DM and share your CV so I can take a quick look and advise more specifically.
Regards, Andi
In most cases it is rolling, even if they don't say it is.

Hi there,
I agree with Cristian here - even if it says it's not rolling, you truly don't know! If you're ready. Apply. Why not!
Hi! Thank you for the advice. The only thing is I have many positions in campus activities that start in the Fall that I would love to include bin my resume. Do you know what BCG CLAIMS they do (rolling or not) by chance?
The point is rather that even if they claim they don't do rolling, they will still review the applications on a rolling basis (and just not communicate directly to those who have been shortlisted). So whenever they reached the critical mass of applicants that they were targeting, they'll stop reviewing. I understand that you have cool activities which you'd like to include in the Fall. But what I'd honestly recommend is to just get your current CV professionally reviewed. I'm sure that whatever you would add in the Fall on the CV won't move the needle nearly as much as having your current CV brought to perfection.
