That said, if it helps your nerves and gives you a sense of control, you can reach out after 2-3 weeks (I think 1 week is far too quick).
Additionally, please never put all your hopes onto 1 firm….please makes sure you're networking with and applying to a ton of companies!

But 1 week is actually not that long. I'd say anything that goes beyond 2-3 weeks is suspicious, but for now it's totally expected.
