Hi there!
Congrats on being invited to the test!
In general, these tests evaluate whether you have the basic skills that will be tested during the live interviews as well.
So if you are not able to pass the test, you're highly unlikely to pass the interviews.
And at the same time, if you've been preparing for the interviews, then you're very likely to pass the BCG test.
The test replicates a live case - basically, it's a business situation, you're provided with a prompt and data and asked several questions within a half-hour timeframe. At the end, you usually have a video answer that you need to provide.
There are several guides available on the market that give you an insight into how the test works. I'm also confident that as long as you're a decent caser, you should do well anyway in the test.
Best of luck!
Cristian

Hi there,
1) I have the past 4 real BCG online cases with answers. I provide this with coaching for you to practice
2) I have a discount code that you can use for additional practice tests
=============HOW TO PREPARE==============
First, learn to case. (You need to know the same business concepts, ways of thinking, etc.
Second, practice with real tests.
Allocate your 30 minutes just like you would a normal test - try to move quickly through questions and watch the clock!
I have a simulation of the test. Feel free to message me and I can take you through it!
Now, in terms of preparation.
The best way is to really find online tests / questions and practice. Regardless as to whether is a new or old test, the principles are mostly the same:
Think of it as a merge of a case and the GMAT/GRE.
You need to be clear on some key case-related and account formulas (margin, growth, breakeven, etc) as well as be good at critically understanding the question (including nuance to questions) and parsing through complicated text with a fair amount of distraction.
You'll also need to be good at chart/graph reading.
The (old) McKinsey PST, BCG Online Test, Bain SOVA test, etc. are all quite similar so leverage resources across all of them.
