Hi,
Has anyone had experience with interviewing at Bayer in house strategy consulting? Is the case interviewer led?
Any tips on what kind of cases behavioral/fit questions to expect?
Thanks!

Hi there,
I've coached a candidate previously for Bayer and the case was candidate-led.
However, I would encourage you to reach out directly to their HR and ask about the format of the interview and the case specifically. These things can change through time so it's best to have the most up to date information.
Best of luck with the interview!
Cristian
Hi there,
Yes, it is generally candidate-led. The general rule for all interviews is to follow the guidance of the interviewer. I've had candidates who went into a Bain interview thinking it was candidate-led, only for the interviewer to drive it. Just always go in being flexible…and “default” to driving the case forward.
In general, they are more focused on healthcare, agriculture, sustainability.
It is very risky to assume anything when it comes to interviews…
Learn the process of problem solving, frameworking, and structured thinking and you won't have to guess/memorize/predict everything…because you'll be able to solve anything.
