HI,
I know Bain interviews are CV-blind in the first round, but does this apply to the second round also?
HI,
I know Bain interviews are CV-blind in the first round, but does this apply to the second round also?
Hi there,
First of all, congratulations on the progress in the application process with Bain thus far!
I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:
You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.
If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming final round interviews with Bain, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Best,
Hagen
Hi there,
First of all, why bother yourself with this question? Of all the things to think about, prepare for etc., does the answer to this question actually change anything you do in terms of preparation?
Put differently: Does focusing on this question change your odds of success?
If so, ok, my apologies :)
Now, for Bain it's going to depend on office/region/role. Things also change on a dime (i.e. what is true today could change tomorrow). Regardless, all the same prep applies (prepare your 3 Whys, prepare your stories, be ready to speak to past experiences, and be ready for “random” questions as well)

Hi there,
Bain first round has a behavioural interview which is CV blind. The second round has an experience interview based on the CV.
I hope this helps.

Hi there!
I wouldn't take this as an assumption.
How CV blind they are depends on the office. From my experience, they don't apply this across all regions.
Still, if I were you I'd rather assume that they did not receive your CV, so be prepared to give a short personal pitch of your experience and track.
Best,
Cristian

Hi,
Can you elaborate what you mean specifically of CV-blind is? Do you mean the interviewer doesn't have a copy of your CV?
I'm guessing this post is related to the previous post in terms of mentioning something that was not listed in the CV and some concern over getting vetted. Hard for us to give a nuanced answer without actual details.
