Hi there,

I agree it is difficult to interpret without context. It likely means:

  • You need to quantify the objective (presumably for a part of the case) and
  • You need to do so relating to the key metric for (I assume) the whole case

So given the “focus metric” is to increase profits by $5M and the objective of the part of the case is $2M, this means you have achieved 40% of the “focus metric”.

Best,

Francesco

Hello,

It would help to have a bit more context on this, but it seems like it just means to provide a specific numerical target for the metric you are looking at. So, if your focus metric is growth, instead of saying something like “the goal is to grow quicker than last year", you set a numerical target like “the goal is to grow by 10%”.

Hi there,

A little bit hard without more context, but it sounds like they want you to identify a threshold for the metric. So, if our target metric is ROI, the target level would be 10%, for example.

I *think* this is what your phrase means. (Interpreting without much context)

Please provide more context and details. There are no standard terminologies - everything is to be interpreted in its proper context.

If the focus metric in the case is profit (eg find ways to increase profits or find why profit is declining)..this is the focus metric. Target level means is there a target they need to achieve for the profits (ie increase it to X Million?)
