Hi there,

You're looking at Tech Consulting roles in other consultancies, internal strategy roles at tech firms, etc.

Basically, anywhere where there is an intersect between tech, strategy, and consulting!

Of course, there are other exits, but these are the most common.

Hello,

I am not too familiar with McKinsey Digital, but within Digital BCG we have several types of profiles.

That being said, unless your role is purely coding (which usually is not the case), the exits are relatively similar to “generalist” consulting with a slight skew towards Digital (e.g. Digital Transformation office at a large corporate…)

In summary, both will still give you a great brand and learning, and is more up to you to go after whatever exit you may desire.

Hope it helps!

Juan

Hello,

I fully agree with Juan - in my experience (McK) the exit opportunities are quite similar to those of generalist consultants, and you'd have a bit more of an edge for digital-focused roles within strategy or ops (such as digital transformations).

So many! Tech, finance, government, real estate… the question is what you want to do and then how you can pick the projects which will allow you to build a story to get to where you want to go.
