McKinsey Business Analyst Internship Milan

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding McKinsey recruting process for the 3-months business analyst internship they offer to Master students during the second academic year, with reference to the Milan office.

I would like to know if the selection process is the same for normal candidates, that is numerical/verbal/problem solving/case interviews/fit interviews. I heard that in Italy McKinsey has started to introduce the SHL test as a screening tool, but it is not clear whether the SHL has replaced or has been added along with the PST.

Does anyone have information in this regard?

Thanks.

Hi Mirko,

the selection process for Master students in Milan is indeed based on SHL + interviews, the latter covering both behavioral and case interviews. The SHL has replaced the PST in Italy some years ago, thus you won’t have to do the PST as part of the application process.

Hope this helps,

Francesco
