Is it similar to prepare for IB as consulting?

Hi there, I did. I did UBS training and was interviewed by Morgan Stanley, Citi, etc. But I gradually found more interest in management consulting. Interviewed with McKinsey, BCG and Bain (New York and Shanghai Office). Ultimately, I chose BCG Shanghai to start off. 

They are not very similar in terms of preparation. You can prepare a few pitches for IBD. The resumes I sent to IB and consulting are different as well. Consutling is heavily case-focused. Behavorial is also different from IBD's. McKinsey always asks "leadership, teamwork, impact" kind of questions, which you can always prepare.
