What do you mean by "obvious?" Your question is really a very broad question without much context (e.g. are you coming in for an expert / practice area aligned role or not), and I think without stating your understanding of the interview process, it's also hard for coaches here to effectively give a perspective of what you know and don't know.
In any case, a standard management consulting interview consists of 2 parts
- Fit/behavioural
- Case
There are plenty of resources that explain this on Preplounge, e.g. (https://www.preplounge.com/en/case-interview-basics)
How best to prepare for them:
- Understand what the requirements are -> plenty of publicly available resources there
- Get quality feedback on your preparation -> self-practice is rarely enough, at least find a practice partner with ideally consulting background that will be extremely helpful
All the best!
