DHL Consulting is the in-house consulting team of Deutsche Post DHL. So the process feels closer to Tier 2 than MBB.

Usually 2 to 3 rounds over 4 to 8 weeks. First a screening chat, then a case round with consultants, then a final with a Partner.

Cases are operations-heavy. Expect logistics network design, supply chain transformation, cost reduction, and market entry for logistics services. The math is operational too, like cost per parcel, fleet utilisation, and breakeven analysis.

Learn the basic vocabulary, hub and spoke, last mile, contract logistics, line haul, working capital. Read DHL Group's annual report to understand their business.

Show real interest in logistics. They hire specialists, not generalists.

Good luck.

hey!

I just coached some guys for DHL!

The interview process is straightforward: two to three rounds, each with a mix of personal fit, structured problem‑solving, and a case interview. Cases are almost always operations‑focused, logistics‑focused, or supply‑chain strategy,  think network optimisation, warehouse efficiency, cost reduction, routing, or process improvement. They’re not heavy finance cases. Expect interviewer‑led cases with clear data points and a strong focus on structure, clarity, and practical thinking.

To prepare, I would probably focus on three things: Operations‑style cases e.g., bottlenecks, throughput, capacity, cost drivers, Supply‑chain basics & good communication (as for all consultancies) :)
