Has anyone received an interview invitation for the Associate (Experienced Hire) position at OC&C London? They said that the first interviews were scheduled for May 18

hi!

OC&C London is moving slowly this cycle, so it’s normal that almost no one has heard back yet. For the Associate experienced‑hire track, they often batch invitations and send them closer to the interview date rather than weeks in advance. A lot of candidates last year only got their invite a few days before their slot.

This is the kind of question where you'll get the most useful answer from people currently in the process. A few thoughts though.

OC&C London's experienced hire timelines are often inconsistent. They run interviews in batches as they have capacity, and not all candidates from the same window hear back on the same day. If they said first interviews were May 18 and you haven't heard yet, it doesn't necessarily mean rejection. They often spread scheduling across 2 to 3 weeks rather than one date.

What to do if you're waiting. Give it a few more days past May 18. If still nothing by end of next week, send one short polite follow-up to the recruiter. Something like, "Hi, just checking in on the Associate role timeline. Understand first interviews were scheduled for the 18th and keen to know where I stand."

Don't chase more than once a week.

OC&C London runs lean processes and often interviews 4 to 6 candidates per slot. Silence in the 1 to 2 week range is normal, not rejection.

Good luck.
