Do I need to apply for a work authorization (CPT) to participate in the ADC bridge programs?

If there are other international students here who have completed the bridge programs for Advanced Degree Candidates, did you have to apply for a CPT given that these programs are more of a workship? 

Also, are people able to apply for STEM OPT when doing MBB consulting given that it does not relate to a STEM degree?
