BCG Application Portal "Offer Extended" but receive no acceptance email

I would also assume you got the offer. Maybe there is a delay in the HR outreach to you. Give it 24h, otherwise reach out to HR. I am sure they will be able to clarify the situation for you.

Yes, theoretically. I assume they've updated it in the system before letting you know. 

That being said, it could also be a technical glitch, so perhaps don't pop the champagne just yet.

That should be the case... but at the same time, it is strange that you didn't actually receive the offer... I suggest you reach out to HR.

That's a good sign. Sometimes it may take a few days for HR to send the formal email or contract, especially if there are administrative steps left. It's not fully official though until you receive the written offer. If it’s been more than a couple of business days, you can politely email your recruiter to confirm the status.

Yes, if your BCG portal shows “Offer Extended,” it almost always means you’ve been selected for an offer,congratulations! Sometimes the system updates before HR officially sends out the offer email, especially if there’s internal processing or approvals pending. The email usually follows within a few days, and it will include your official offer letter and next steps.

If you don’t hear anything after three business days, it’s perfectly fine to send a short, polite note to the recruiter just asking for confirmation.
