B2B SaaS Product Strategy Coach

Hi Coaches, I’m preparing for a product strategy and operations case interview  and am looking for someone with experience in enterprise SaaS, operational technology, logistics/manufacturing operations, and/or product strategy. I’m not looking for pure “case interview drilling,” but rather someone who can help pressure-test my strategic and operational thinking, assumptions, operating-model recommendations, and overall framing over the next few days.

If relevant to your background, please drop me a note with a short overview of your experience so I can reach out. Thanks!

Hi! This is precisely my lane. Ex-McKinsey, B2B product strategy at large corps, startup exit, and currently building a B2B AI SaaS. Happy to pressure-test your thinking properly. Feel free to DM me if it resonates!

Pure case drilling isn't what you need for this.

Product strategy and operations cases at B2B SaaS test different muscles. Product thinking like roadmap prioritisation, segment selection, pricing. Operational depth like operating model design, handoffs, and friction points between product, sales, and success. Commercial judgment around unit economics, expansion, retention. And strategic framing under real-world ambiguity, since these cases rarely have clean numbers.

A few things to pressure-test in your prep. Your assumptions about ICP, most candidates assume too broad. Your operating model recommendations, are you actually changing how work flows or just adding a new function. Your prioritisation logic, why this initiative over that one. Your synthesis, can you land a 90-second recommendation with confidence.

For coach search, filter on PrepLounge for people who've actually worked in product strategy or operations at SaaS companies, not just MBB generalists. Look for ex-Stripe, ex-Atlassian, ex-Snowflake type bios.

Good luck.

Professional MBB coach | Success rates: 63% MBB only & 88% overall | ex-McKinsey consultant and faculty

Hi there,

I've done actual consulting engagements in SaaS, manufacturing, ops and product strategy, so if you need help with this, drop me a line. Additionally, I've worked with around 400 candidates in the last 4.5 years, many of whom pursued specialist roles in ops, prod and manufacturing practices.

Best,
Cristian
