Hi, I want to use an excel sheet to note down the data for McKinsey Imbellus test. Are the keyboard/mouse movements for this purpose tracked or more specifically considered in a negative light? Or for the safe side, should I go ahead with a pen and paper (which I think is more time taking)?

Hi there,

I would recommend to use Excel, you should be able to save at least 5 minutes thanks to copy and paste. The best option is to use a second computer so that there is no possible interference with the tracking.

If you want to see how to use Excel in the best possible way and finish the Ecosystem Management game in less than 25 minutes, you can find an example in Videos 5-7 in the Imbellus Combo at the link below:

Hello!

I would indeed go ahead for Excel.

Furthermore, there are quite some materials in the Imbellus by Francesco in the shop, have a look!

Cheers,

Clara

Hey there,

If you have a second laptop, definitely use an Excel model for the first part of the game. The Excel model should already contain a tailored template with formulas that checks your answers for the feasibility of the

Do not use it on the same computer that is running the game. In that case, use pen and paper.

Hi there,

You're perfectly fine here. If you'd like to use Excel that's ok. That said I would personally use pen and paper as I view it to be faster and more flexible/adaptable. However, you should use whichever tool you feel more comfortable/natural using.

More strong recommendation is to have both ready at hand. That way, you can switch based on what ends up feeling more natural in the moment.

Hi, I strongly recommend using Excel. I confirm there is a mouse tracking score but my candidates use it without problems. The best option is having a second laptop for more convenience (otherwise a second screen)

Best,
Antonello
