I applied to McKinsey's BA role in North America region last week (9/16) and completed my Imbellus test on the 22nd. It has been a week and i have not heard back anything from McKinsey.
I was wondering if anyone has gotten the invitation email for first round interview? Is it fair to assume that people should hear back by the end of this week if they can move on as the application was due on the 16th and the latest time to finish the game was on 24th?

Normally you should wait between 1 and 3 weeks. If you don't hear back from them you can send an email to HR asking for an update.

If the latest date was on the 24th, then you should expect to hear back latest by end of next week.
All is still within limits and all is still on track.

Imbellus results have known to take anywhere between 1 to 6 weeks. No idea why.
You should ideally follow-up if you don't hear anything by the 4th week though. But your current situation 1 week is completely normal.

Don't read too much into this - McKinsey NA receives a lot of applications and it can take time to sort through everything. Until you hear one way or the other, there is no reason to assume anything. I would wait a week or so from now before reaching out.
