Hello, I have an interview with a Life Science consultancy. I've been doing a diversity of cases relevant to life science consulting. However, I don't come from that background, so don't know a lot(albeit I've been learning with each case). Are there any industry primers or guides to help me get some context? My interview is next week.
Life Science Industry Review

Hi Jeremy!
Great question.
First of all, check with HR whether the interview will also involve a technical component. Meaning, a part of the interview where they actually want to test your knowledge of the industry. In some cases they don't, they're only interested in your skills, and then you have nothing to worry about.
If you do need to show industry knowledge, I'd recommend that you leverage ChatGPT. Provide it with prompts that will generate a crash course into the industry and then you can even request it to generate cases from within the industry.
Best,
Cristian

Hi Jeremy,
I actually have a 40 page document with 20+ industry deep-dives!
4 of them are life sciences related:
- Life Sciences/ Pharma
- Healthcare Payers
- Hospital Facilities
- Medical Devices

Fully agree with Cristian here, ChatGPT can be a great resources for training (as long as you have sufficient skills and knowledge to filter out the bulls* that GPT also sometimes generates). Warm regards, Frederic
