Keystone Strategy Associate Interview

Hi guys,

I might be having an interview with Keystone and the next stage includes a case study. It's been quite a while since I have done these things and I was wondering if anyone had any example case studies which might be relevant. the firm focuses on strategy, consulting, and technology.

thanks

Hello! As a seasoned strategy consultant, I can provide some guidance on preparing for a case study interview with Keystone. While I don't have access to specific case studies from Keystone, I can offer some general advice to help you prepare.

Given Keystone's focus on strategy, consulting, and technology, it's important to approach the case study with a strategic mindset and consider the potential impact of technology on business decisions. When practicing case studies, try to select examples that involve strategic decision-making and incorporate technology-related considerations.

For instance, you could explore cases related to digital transformation, market entry strategies for technology companies, or the implementation of technology solutions to address business challenges. These types of cases can help you demonstrate your ability to think critically, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations in a technology-driven context.

To further enhance your preparation, I recommend utilizing case study resources available online, such as consulting case interview books or websites that offer sample case studies. These resources often provide a variety of case scenarios that can help you practice your problem-solving skills and familiarize yourself with different types of business challenges.

Additionally, consider reaching out to individuals who have experience with Keystone or similar firms. They may be able to provide insights into the types of cases Keystone typically presents and offer guidance on how to approach them effectively.

Remember, the key to success in a case study interview is to think logically, communicate your thought process clearly, and provide well-structured recommendations. Practice solving cases, both independently and with a partner, to sharpen your skills and build confidence.

I wish you the best of luck in your interview with Keystone! If you have any further questions or need additional guidance, feel free to ask.

Happy to provide a few examples. Feel free to reach out over DM.

Aside from this, please reach out to HR to get a better understanding of the format of the test.

The format differs from region to region / office to office and you'd ideally want to understand what to expect in order to prepare accordingly.

e.g., interview led vs candidate led?

market sizing questions?

focus on a specific industry?

how long will the case be?

Best,
Cristian
