No matter what I do, I can't break 30 turns consistently. I have followed strategies outlined in a few products I've bought, including here.
Is there any solid strategy that optimizes for surviving as many turns as possible?

Hi there,
1) Is it possible to survive 40-50 turns consistently on Plant Defense (McK Imbellus)?
Yes, it is possible. Some of the candidates that I helped managed to get to that level. However it is not critical for two reasons:
2) Is there any solid strategy that optimizes for surviving as many turns as possible?
In general:
1) Place defenders/barriers close to the plant first.
2) Focus on killing visible invaders first; then, use the resources to increase the defenses around the plant.
3) Structure the defenses so that you can resist after turn 15 in the final map. Extra turns will contribute to your final score, even if you won’t be able to move.
If you need more help with the game please feel free to PM me, I will reply within 12 hours.
Good luck!

Hi there,
30 turns is more than sufficient and this game is barely used nowadays, so suggest you focus your energy on higher-impact activities.
All the best!

Hi there,
Remember that time is finite.
Your energy is finite.
Please please, in your prep, focus on the most value-adding activites. I.e. time for progress.
30 rounds is more than you need (you need 15). Why are you wasting all this time trying to get to 40-50 when you could be using that time to network, improve your resume, case prep, etc.
Please stop…30 is great!
HI there!
Surviving for 30 turns is already on average a strong enough performance. That should serve you well in the actual test.
Also, keep in mind that to pass screening, they will also be looking at your application package (CV, cover letter and referral), so the test will only be one dimension of the assessment.
Best,
Cristian

Hello,
30 rounds is honestly quite impressive, and more than enough to pass. I don't know if it's worth spending time trying to improve your score here.
