What's your advice or experience to do during the interview day with MBB? Do you suggest doing lots of cases beforehand or just resting? :)
Interview day

Hi there,
Q: What's your advice or experience to do during the interview day with MBB?
I would stop doing cases 24h before the interview and just review past material to avoid stress.
A few tips for the interview day:
- Go to sleep early - ideally sleep 8 hours to be fully rested unless you naturally need less than that
- Have some snacks ready that you can eat during breaks if needed
- Take a break between interviews (eg. change environment, listen to music, read something)
Hope this helps,
Francesco

In my view, resting the day of is a must. As is resting most of the day before.
Think about an Olympic athlete. Do they do a bunch of last minute training before?
Cramming before a test is not the way to succeed here! Give yourself 2-3 months runway, so that by the time interview day comes you're setup well…then, just make sure you're in peak form to move/think/react quickly! Get yourself on your A game!
Leading up to the day, make sure to read the following:

Hey there,
Fully agree with Ian.
One, ideally two days before your interviews should be spent on anything but cases. You want to approach the interviews with a fresh and relaxed mind.
Rather focus on things that help you relax, e.g.,
- meet friends and family
- go outside
- do some sports
- meditate
- read a fiction book
- …
If you feel guilty about not doing anything on the day before the interview, you might go through your fit or PEI answers for one or two hours.
Cheers,
Florian

Rest! Do what makes you feel calm - go for a run, meditate, draw - whatever makes you feel zen. And make sure you eat - the last thing you want is a sugar crash. Try to frame your anxiety as excitement and focus on being entirely in the moment and divorced from the outcome. That way you’ll be fully present in the interview and give it your all. Good luck!

Great question! The one thing I can say for certain is that what works for one person does not work for another. Some people need absolute calm before the interview and others thrive on practicing till the last second. Recognize the things that work well for you and plan accordingly.
That being said - definitely get sufficient sleep and make sure you are well hydrated and fed prior to the interview.
All the best.

Hello,
The key thing to do on interview day is make sure you are relaxed and well-rested! Get a good night of sleep, make sure you know where you need to go and are not pressed for time, do something that will help you relax and have fun. You could review some key concepts/run through a basic case to warm up the morning before if you want to, but honestly at this stage your prep is pretty much done.
