Hi!

In most cases, it's around a couple of weeks.

It really depends on the external firm that they work with who conducts these background checks.

You can also ask them what is the typical time in that geography. That's where you'll get the most accurate answer.

Good luck!
Cristian

In the US - anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending on your background (e.g., if you are international it takes more time)

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the offer!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, background checks typically take between 1 to 4 weeks. However, the duration can vary based on several factors such as the complexity of your work history, the locations you've worked in, and the responsiveness of your references.
  • Moreover, I would advise you to use this waiting period to prepare for your new role. Brushing up on relevant skills, networking with future colleagues, or simply resting and recharging can be beneficial.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on your specific situation, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi there,

They're generally occur after you sign the offer. They can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks/months.

I've had a few in my life and they've tended to take a couple of weeks.

Regardless, don't stress!

1) They'll let you know if they need anything

2) As long as you told the truth, you're fine!
