Hi,
I started working at BCG recently and gained access to Refinitiv and S&P Capital IQ.
May I know how can I leverage these sources in my day to day job?
Also, what are other platforms/data sources I should look into?
Thanks.

Hi,
congrats on your offer and welcome to BCG!
we do have a lot of sources to use: those you mentioned from my experience are usually used for financial analysis and due diligence cases. You will unlikely use those tools per-se unless you are on a case that this is needed and the Project Leader/Consultant asks you to get some information from that. You can, however, use those if you are interested in financial data yourself, those tools are much more comprehensive than free tools on internet.
If you want to know a bit more, I would recommend reaching your buddy or KT team or you can reach me directly.
Wishing you all the best,
Lucie
Hi there,
First of all, congratulations on the career entry with BCG!
This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:
In case you want a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare your career entry for swift progression, please feel free to contact me directly.
I hope this helps,

You should ask your senior. They will tell you when to use it (and how). You are not expected to figure out on your own. There will be a project need, and then you will use it.
Hello!
Congrats!
Those are resources that you can use, but you don´t need to at all costs. It depends on the project, so ask your EM for guidance on how to squeeze those resources (when needed)
Cheers,
Clara
Hi there,
It completely depends on your project. You need to ask your manager!
