Hi everyone, I am having a dilemma on whether to apply to McK (internship) soon or get some time (~1 month) to prepare for the PSG. I already prepared a decent cv, cover letter and referral, but I am concerned if I can pass the Solve. I cannot apply to other MBBs or Tier 2 companies because they are not based in my country (and I can't leave), so since my only chance is McK, and getting banned for 12 months is scary, I wanted to do my best for this try.
Some people say that you can't really prep for Solve (other than just reading what the game is about). I am already familiar with what the game looks like and what skills it tests. Still, I noticed a lot of those people who have passed are those who already are good at casing or from math/engineering background or have innate good strategic thinking & problem-solving skills (they play chess really well, lol).
So, should I take the time to improve my problem-solving (case a lot, solve pst & gmat) or should I apply early, now?
Thank you for taking the time to read!
