Is it worth it? Has anyone here benefitted from the course (got accepted, for example)? It sounds promising but I'm not sure about the approach.

Looking for solid partners. Currently preparing for McK interview

Hey,

I've been in the last class that HighBridge organized, so just finished in May - the results I had were:

- passed cv screening and cover letter at all companies I applied to: McKinsey, BCG and Kearney (they give you great insights especially on the cover letter writing part)

- passed assessment tests in both BCG and McKinsey (I withdrew from Kearney, got very good pointers from Flavio and team on what to be careful at during the chatbot interview and imbellus)

- passed round 1 interviews with BCG and McKinsey

- got an offer from McKinsey and now waiting for my final round with BCG

I would say HighBridge helps a lot, but you need dedication - the bootcamp is intense and requires a lot of time commitment, so if you're not putting in the effort, you won't get the results. At the end, they give you the framework and some practice, but it's up to you. For me, it made a difference, especially the 1 on 1 coaching sessions and the fact that there is an answer for every question you have, so in your interviews you will actually stand out and look extremely well prepared!

May I ask if prior the bootcamp - how long have you been preparing/how many cases have you done and at what level were ypu in?

Madalina on Jun 18, 2021

I had done none - I was just beginning to think about my prep plan, and I thought it would be much easier for me to have a structured way of preparing and "forced" dedicated time rather than use VictorCheng or find partners to do cases on my own. By now I think I did about 25 cases in total, and to be fair, for me that's enough. I do have work experience and I just finished my MBA, so that might have helped, but only from a case preparation perspective, I had zero preparation before high bridge, although I had been once through the mckinsey process and didn't pass round 1, so I knew what a case was.

This is incredibly helpful, Madalina! Hope I pass the assessment and get a High Bridge offer. :)

Hi, do you know if it would be relevant for people without MBA?

Hey there!

I had the opportunity to be part of the High Bridge Team and even though I was not a student, I've learned a lot. Let me share with you my achievements:
1. Offer from Bain and Kearney;
2. Last Round at Oliver Wyman.
Highlight: I started to prepare myself for the recruitment process this semester with High Bridge Management Academy.

Why did I choose to be part of and learn from them?
1. All the Faculties are consultants from MBB firms and they are great teachers and 100% available;
2. Every week you have assignments regarding the classes that you took and they are corrected by the team, always giving you feedback on what you should do better;
3. The content is incredible! All the business sense classes allowed me to think about any case differently;
4. I have learned not just how to solve a case, but they teach you how to solve any case with all the classes taught;
5. The Fit Interview classes give you a great picture of how-to impresses the interviewers and with 100% sure, that made a lot of difference in my interviews. I used to have poor communication and with the classes, one of the biggest feedback that I received from Bain was that my communication is incredible and they wouldn't worry to put me in front of a client.
7. They give you, as a student, an opportunity to have coaching sessions with MBB Formers. Therefore, you are going to have the opportunity to see how you should improve on case interviews from a real consultant.
8. The classes are with top students, so you are going to study with smart people from different places who will give you a different perspective on your problem-solving skills and it is a great networking.
9. The ISA (Income Share Agreement) give the student the opportunity to pay just if got an offer.

I know that I have put a lot of points, but I wanted to show you how High Bridge changed my life, and after 1 semester of studying with them I received an offer from an MBB consulting firm.

Any doubts, do not hesitate to comment or contact me ;)

Hi there,

I actually teach/coach for them on ocassion - they're fantastic!

They've got a great program.

Moreover, they're on an ISA (Income Share Agreement) Model, which means you don't have to pay a dime unless you get a top offer. It's honestly a great deal :)

Hey there,

Agree with Ian. Same experience here as I taught a few classes for them + Flavio is a super nice guy who really has the satisfaction and outcomes of the students in mind.

Cheers,

Florian

Hello, I've been in the last class that HighBridge organized in Brazil finished in May. It was one incredible and important experience in my preparation and here is my achievements:

  • Offer from L.E.K Consulting and EY-Parthenon;
  • Passed CV screening and cover letter at all companies I applied. The course helped me a lot to create a good cover letter and CV;

I started to prepare myself for the recruitment process this semester and High Bridge was fundamental in this stage.

Some Highlights:

  • All the Faculties are consultants from MBB firms and they are excellent teachers giving tips to the recruitment process and important approaches too;
  • You have assignments to solve every week. So you apply the theory you learned studying alone and with other students. All of the assignments receive feedbacks on what you should do better and what was very great;
  • The course give one incredible business sense to the students, giving a lot of real examples that can be used in case resolutions;
  • The teachers show ways to impress the interviewers in the Fit interview, telling good ways to use the communication and telling you what are good stories for you to use in the interviews;
  • The students are top players, so you will have one nice network and great people to talk, learn and help along the course;
  • You will have 1 on 1 coaching sessions with the Faculties and you will receive feedbacks importants to use in the recruitment process.

It is important to say that HighBridge helps a lot the students, but you have to be very dedicated putting effort to get results.
